America’s Original Craft Vodka

When Tito’s Handmade Vodka debuted in 1997, founder Bert “Tito” Beveridge operated the first legal distillery in Texas. Now, almost three decades later, Tito’s is America’s favorite vodka—and dedicated to doing good at the same time

Since Bert “Tito” Beveridge obtained his license to open the first legal distillery in Texas in 1995, his namesake vodka has been on a meteoric, three-decade rise. Tito’s Handmade Vodka made its debut two years later, in 1997, and has been made in Austin, Texas, ever since. Beveridge set out to make a vodka so smooth you could drink it straight, and it proved to be a winning mission, with Tito’s becoming America’s favorite vodka*.

Tito’s is made from corn, providing a soft, rounded flavor that’s backed by a crisp finish. That choice of ingredient has another benefit as well, making the vodka naturally gluten-free. Tito’s also packs a low caloric punch for those keeping score; a one-ounce pour is only 65 calories, and a 1.5-ounce serving is 98 calories.

Part of the brand’s continued success is that it’s crafted in old-fashioned pot stills, inspired by the distillation methods of fine single malt Scotches and high-end French Cognacs. Tito’s is distilled six times and every batch is taste-tested to ensure that each sip goes down smooth and has an impeccably clean finish.

With a subtle sweetness and balanced character, there’s no wrong way to use Tito’s, making it a versatile purchase for consumers. Made for easy sipping, it also mixes with everything from Bloody Marys to kick start a weekend morning, to a classic Tito’s Soda Lime to cool down on warm summer evenings. For the golfers out there, there’s the signature Tito’s Transfusion, with ginger ale, grape juice, lime juice, and a lime garnish.

Tito’s has a strong dedication to charitable endeavors, which is umbrellaed under Love, Tito’s. In the past five years alone, it has made more than $150 million in philanthropic contributions, supporting over 20,000 nonprofit organizations in communities across the U.S. and world. Tito’s ensures the wellness of its employees is a priority as well; one of the key initiatives they offer is a no-cost farmers market for staff, run through its Fourteen Acres™ Farm.

Plus, Tito’s helps pets and their people through their Vodka for Dog People program, which started by lending a hand to a few dogs found around the Tito’s distillery in the early days. The company focuses their efforts on rescue, adoption, access to affordable veterinary care, and support for the human and animal bond, and over the past five years, has supported more than 2,500 animal well-being nonprofits.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka earned its place as America’s favorite vodka not just for its smooth, clean taste, but for the values it bottles alongside every pour.
